I’ve always believed life reveals its greatest opportunities in moments of uncertainty and challenge. In the spring of 2022, I joined with nearly seven hundred coaches united in a shared quest for support amidst a sea of change. We cultivated and built an unwavering trust where everyone feels seen, heard, acknowledged, and respected.
As one of the early organizers, I had the honor to support this community, aiding in the navigation and negotiation while representing the voices of change. The camaraderie we built, compassion we shared, and clarity of our purpose inspired me. As our unity strengthened, we recognized opportunities to elevate the art and practice of coaching - setting new benchmarks of excellence as we become a stronger voice in our industry.
Now, we take this next step in our journey. Our intention is to broaden our meaningful dialogue and build upon the robust foundations we established. The cooperative is a circle of people who actively contribute to each other's growth and success. We are a strongly interconnected community dedicated to elevating the standards of our individual practices and the coaching industry. Our collective voice resonates from the unique vantage point of the coach, spotlighting critical issues in ethics, performance measurement, and appropriate applications of technology.
As members, we celebrate each other's achievements and provide a supportive network during challenging times. A shared sense of compassion and respect unites us. We are rooted in shared beliefs and values. We are empowered to adapt and grow in an ever-changing landscape.
While cooperatives serve many purposes, ours is anchored in five fundamental principles.
Coach-centric
Created by coaches, exclusively for coaches. We intend to serve as a trusted space where the coach feels safe, respected, and valued. As such, we’re an entirely bootstrapped organization and operate without external investment, ensuring our agenda remains undiluted and genuine. Our members' active participation and financial contributions are crucial to drive progress and shape the space where coaches can collaboratively grow, share, and preserve excellence in our industry.
Mutual Responsibility
Dedicated to standing together in moments of success and challenge, our members thrive in a space where support is freely sought and given. Ideas flow under an umbrella of open minds, hearts, and interactions marked by positive intention and absolute trust. We embrace the belief that in unity, there is strength.
