The coaches cooperative is the evolution of a dynamic, private LinkedIn community of professional coaches who rallied together during a moment of unexpected, complicated change.


The coaches cooperative intends to create a trusted supportive environment to share our experiences, navigate our challenges and opportunities, and learn and grow together.

Last summer, Kate embarked on a mission to craft a new vision for our community. After observing the limitations and missed opportunities within the LinkedIn algorithm, she was inspired to create a space that elevates every member equally, fostering a truly cooperative community.

The coaches cooperative is a broader community experience that continues to nurture the trust and collaboration our coaches value. It embodies our commitment to grow together in a space enhanced for privacy and security, fostering richer, more genuine, and organic engagement.

This is a home for sharing ideas, offering support, and spreading compassion. Together, we’ll make a meaningful impact in the coaching industry, particularly in areas we hold dear.

The coaches cooperative stands apart as it is conceived by coaches, for coaches. Distinct from other groups backed by contract coaching companies or associations such as ICF, our community fills a vital niche.

It is a platform exclusively owned by coaches and dedicated to our mutual benefit. This unique space is where we, as coaches, support one another's personal development, drive progress, and collaboratively shape an environment of shared growth and sustained excellence in our profession and preserve excellence in our industry.

Our intention is to serve as a fully independent and stand-alone entity whose sole purpose is to serve the interest of professional coaches.

Realizing a new community vision required a financial investment, which Kate solely funded to provide continuity in leadership from our LinkedIn group and maintain the community’s integrity and independence.

The coaches cooperative is an entirely bootstrapped organization, and operates without external investment, ensuring our agenda remains undiluted and genuine.

There’s no intention to accept external investment or support any agenda other than what’s most important to the community.

As such, we look to the membership to share collectively to support the ongoing financial commitments that underlie our community’s structure and success.

Members will demonstrate their support through an annual membership fee - which will be assessed on an annual basis.

The initial fee income inflows will be used to offset the start-up costs of this endeavor and establish an operating budget to manage the fixed costs associated with community operations.
